Enlightened were honoured to be approached by the Albany Theatre in Deptford to help with the complete technical refurbishment and new installation of their multi purpose theatre space. Working in close collaboration with their Head of Production Ben Stephens and his team we were tasked with finding exciting and creative solutions for their dynamic central theatre space.
Enlightened has full NICEIC accreditation and has successfully carried out a number of theatrical installations in recent years.
Enlightened works closely with architects and M&E consultants at the design stage to ensure that new build projects encompass the technical facilities required in theatrical, drama and dance spaces. Listening to and interpreting the needs of the end client is crucial to all that we do and an installation is no exception.
Enlightened recently worked to very tight deadlines and schedules to technically fit out Bath's latest vaulted venue, the Igloo at Bath Hotel.
With full Audio Visual specification and design completed in house, the installation consists of Nexo M6 PA system, with HD projection and Extron switching and control. All with local and user friendly input panels.
Lighting is entirely LED with the full design kept as discreet as possible.
This installation took place along side our regular temporary installation at the Hotel for their annual Ski Lodge.
Enlightened Lighting were approached by St Mary's Church in Taunton to replace an existing lighting system that was becoming unreliable and very expensive to run.
With a track record and knowledge of the products' performance very well, Anolis ArcPads were specified. After a successful demonstration, custom brackets were fabricated by Enlightened and the installation went ahead.
Controlled by multiple networked Sunlite S.T.I.C.K.'s, the installation have been very well received.
Enlightened Lighting carried out a remarkable technical installation in a new £9.5m performing arts facility at Hayesfield Girls’ School in Bath — incorporating well over 100 JBL loudspeakers into a fully-integrated audio visual design, a contract worth in excess of £200,000. The space will enable the school to offer courses in Stage Design and Management as well as Music Production. “Performance and creativity are key to students' learning and these new facilities enable this to happen,” stated head teacher, Erica Draisey.
